Searching for Evidence

Struggling to find journal articles or evidence for a report/QI project/paper you are working on?

This session covers how to find journal articles on databases such as Medline, CINAHL or Embase.

Topics covered include:

  • Structuring a clear and focused clinical question (using PICO)
  • MeSH headings
  • Saving and exporting searches and results
  • Applying Limits
  • Accessing full text journals online

This can be booked as a group or on a one-to-one basis and usually takes about an hour, depending on your needs.
