R&D Trials
Studies defined as Urgent Public Health Research Studies for COVID-19 are a high priority for all organisations receiving NIHR funding. The portfolio is changing rapidly and can be found at https://www.nihr.ac.uk/covid-19/urgent-public-health-studies-covid-19.htm.
Not all of the portfolio is suitable for delivery within Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust, nor are all studies open to additional centres. Where a study is to be open R&D are carrying out expedited capacity and capability assessment and study set up to ensure timely activation of studies to which we can contribute.
For more information about specific studies, please contact Gina Dutton, Head of Research and Development or the relevant Principal or Co-investigators.
